Meredith is the founder and Executive Director of Dragon Productions Theatre Company since the company's birth in 2000. She started as an Equity actor who didn't want to wait for others to provide the opportunities to tell the stories she wanted to tell. Dragon was founded to provide those opportunties to like-minded artists looking for a safe and fun professional theatre environment. She began producing theatre in college and has been an acting and directing member of multiple theatre troupes across the country for over 30 years.

Kimberly Wadycki graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in political science. While pursuing her degree she was very active at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts - she was the founding producer of "On the Rocks," a series of student written, directed, and produced one-acts, sat on the Administrative Board of the Krannert Center Association for three years, and was the sole student campus representative on the search committee to hire the new Executive Director of the Krannert Center. After moving back to St. Louis, she was heavily involved with St. Louis Shakespeare and Magic Smoking Monkey Theatre where she worked as a Stage Manager, Board Member, and Production Manager. After a 6 year hiatus Kim has "un-retired" to become active with Dragon Productions Theatre.
2nd Stages Director: Karen Altree Piemme firstname.lastname@example.org
Karen Altree Piemme is an accomplished director, actor, dramaturg, workshop facilitator and acting instructor, specializing in community access to the arts. Ms. Piemme spent 21 years with San Jose Repertory Theatre, where she was the Director of Outreach and Resident Dramaturg. She also served as the Director of the Red Ladder Theatre Company, the nationally-acclaimed, award-winning resident outreach company, which empowers disenfranchised populations in our community by helping them develop positive life-skills through the art form of theatre. Ms. Piemme is proud of the positive impact Red Ladder has had on the community as it works to meet the needs of the diverse populations the program serves. Through her expertise in the field, Ms. Piemme has been asked to mentor other artists through the process of creating their own programs based on Red Ladder’s philosophy and methodology, and has successfully launched two other companies on this model. Ms. Piemme’s facility for innovative program design has led her to develop a wide range of interactive arts programs, such as the Creative Playshop program, which have been lauded by others in the field of arts education and have been replicated by theatres nationwide.
Ms. Piemme has directed productions, conducted dramaturgy, taught classes and delivered workshops locally, nationally and internationally for over twenty-five years. In 2011 she received the Champion of Arts Education Award from the City of San Jose, and in 2012 she was honored as one of the “35 Faces” of Theatre Bay Area. She serves on the Theatre Services Committee for Theatre Bay Area, is on Playwrights Foundation’s play selection committee for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival and teaches classes at San Jose State University.
As an active Bay Area community leader, Ms. Piemme served for two years as the Executive Director of the San Jose Leadership Council. She is a founding member of the Kids in Common Action Network, has participated as a mentor in the Enterprise Academy Mentoring Program and at the Foundry Community Day School, has led workshops for the Young Audiences Arts in Education Institute, the City of San José’s Arts Express Celebration, the Bay Area California Arts Project and the South Bay Arts Education Collaborative. She has been a guest speaker on the topics of arts education and community partnerships at local, regional and national conferences and community organizations. She has participated in training residencies for artists and conducted workshops in the creative process both nationally and internationally, most recently in Santiago, Chile and Anchorage, Alaska. Ms. Piemme was educated in both New York and London, and received her degree in Acting & Directing (graduating Magna Cum Laude) from Syracuse University. Ms. Piemme is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.

Ashley Taylor Frampton matriculated from the University of California, Santa Cruz and Kent University, England with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, and Film and Digital Media, respectively. For the last decade she has worked internationally in both mediums as a stage manager, production manager, master electrician, properties designer, sound technician, editor and performer. Currently the Assistant Technical Director for San Francisco Sketchfest and a member of Actor's Equity Association, past credits include companies such as TheatreWorks, California Shakespeare Theatre, Center REPeratory Company, Cabrillo Stage, Hillbarn Theatre, Peninsula Youth Theatre, and Playfaire Production, Inc. When not in production, she trains with mêlée weapons at Davenriche European Martial Arts School where she is an assistant instructor and apprentice to Sir Steaphen Fick.
Assistant Production Manager for 2nd Stages: Jesse Ploog firstname.lastname@example.org
A year into being a professional theatre artist, Jesse has been able to add quite a bit to her list of accomplishments. After graduating from the University of Arizona in 2015 with a degree in Theatre Production/Scenic Design, she moved out to the Bay and immediately began working with Dragon again after interning with them the summer before. Since moving, Jesse has been able to Stage Manage/ASM, Set Design, and be a props master for many shows with Dragon - and in April of 2016 she had the opportunity to join the amazing team here at Dragon as the Associate Production Manager of 2nd Stages. In her time here she has also had many amazing opportunities at various other South Bay theatres to Stage Manage and work as a Scenic Artist. Jesse is so happy to be able to be a part of the Bay Area theatre community and to be so involved with this wonderful theatre!
Bora "Max" Koknar (Associate Production Manager) is a theatrical jack of all trades. His past work range from founding and teaching with Urban Renaissance, a theatre education program designed to help increase language fluency in under-served elementary schools to co-producing and performing in large scale immersive theatre experiences with Epic Immersive. Before joining Dragon, Max worked with the California Theatre Center as an actor, teacher, director and administrator and where he got to perform for hundreds of thousands of children and teach and direct many hundreds in addition to that. When not at Dragon, Max also performs as part of the Headlands Gamble, a New York Times featured, weekend-long immersive adventure for two. Max is a graduate of OSU Theatre Department. He has studied Viewpoints and Suzuki with The SITI Company and mime with Marcel Marceau trained master teachers Jeanine Thompson and Gregg Goldston. In addition he has trained in devising works of physical comedy with Robert Post and Clowning with Dan Griffiths (SF Circus Center), John Gilkey (Cirque du Soleil) and Quinn Baudriel (Pig Iron Theatre Co.) Max is thrilled to contribute his wide breadth of skills and experience to Dragon, his new artistic home.

Josiah Frampton works in many facets all around the Bay Area as both an actor and a working professional. He enjoys his work as an assemblies presenter/actor with the Theatre of All Possibilities which takes him all across the greater Bay Area working with children in elementary schools helping them learn in new ways while entertaining and working closely with a small group of local students directing up to 30 additional actors for each show. He has also spent the last three years at the Old Spaghetti Factory as a department manager, starting with hosts and bussers, and then working his way up and into most facets of the restaurant. Over the course of his tenure he oversaw the maintenance crew to the service department; running the bar to overseeing daily administration and office organization. Throughout the last 6 months Josiah has taken a step back from the restaurant in order to focus on his first love, the theatre. Though his training and education prepared him mostly for work on the stage, of late he has become fascinated with everything that happens behind the scenes. Josiah is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful team here at the Dragon Productions Theatre!

An accomplished stage manager, Linda enjoys being the administrative part of a creative team. Having worked in Bay Area theatre for over 13 years, she currently works for Dragon Productions to provide support to the staff, cast and crew each season. Linda continues to work with several other theaters as an actor, assistant director and dresser while maintaining a day job in book publishing.
