Jul 13 - Half Truths with Matt Herrero
Doors open at 9p; show starts at 9:30p
There are stories that hold the wisdom of generations before. There are songs that rekindle forgotten fires in our human experience.
And then there's the stuff Matt makes up.
Half Truths is a night of music, storytelling, improv comedy, and other silliness, hosted and performed by Matt Herrero. In this show, Matt will share some of the most special songs he's written and tell the wonderful stories of how they came to be. One catch, though... he's only actually written half of the songs. The other half will be improved, on the spot, using only titles collected via audience suggestions.
Matt is a singer-songwriter, actor, improvisor, and playwright from Marin County. Matt has performed his original music up and down the west coast, from the Catalina Jazz Club in Los Angeles, to Brick and Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco. Matt and his music have been featured in songwriting workshops led by Benjamin Scheuer (The Lion) and Casey Lee Hurt (The Unfortunates).
So come join Matt for a night of stories, songs, and laughter!
