Not the same old children’s acting camp. Your children are young artists in our eyes & we want to nurture that. They will learn the basics of acting, or develop the acting skills they’ve already acquired, in a fun and stimulating environment. The first half of each day will be spent working on voice, movement, and character through games and exercises. The latter part of the day will be dedicated to working on pieces that each child will be featured in & will be presented in a showcase for friends & family. Because we have 2 teachers for each camp, each young artist will receive a great deal of personal attention. They will be working on scenes & monologues from Tony award-winning plays as well as song & dance numbers (some that they’ve conceived of themselves). The focus of the camp will be the development of a character and of an interactive relationship their fellow artists.
