The Underpants by Steve Martin
The Underpants was written in 1910, by Carl Sternheim, as a wicked satire on the German middle class. Almost a century later Steve Martin, "one of America's most recognizable and intelligent comic voices," has adapted Mr. Sternheim's play giving it a modern sensibility. Mr. Martin's version centers on gender politics and present-day society's infatuation with its "15 minutes of fame."
