Greater Tuna by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, & Ed Howard

By 1985, this was the most-produced play in the US and you’ll see why.  It’s a hilarious and affectionate comment on small-town southern life & attitudes, but also a withering satire of the same.

Employing Gurney’s characteristic pitch-perfect ear for the manners of the privileged, the author exposes the sometimes embarrassing truths hidden inside the cocktail cabinet.

A Girl’s Guide to Chaos by Cynthia Heimel

If you are a fan of Fran Lebowitz, Bridget Jones’ Diary or Sex and the City, you certainly won’t want to miss this sassy comic venture into the romantic & sexual escapades of the urban female in 1980’s Los Angeles.

The Memory of Water by Shelagh Stephenson

It’s remembering which helps three sisters survive the despair of losing their mother and come to terms with their own lives.  From start to finish The Memory of Water is a whirl-wind of emotions, bouncing from hilarious hysterics to twisting sorrow and pain. In the end, it’s very simple: sometimes a good laugh, a good cry and a good hug are the best therapy.

Side Man by Warren Leight

A moving, dramatic-comedy stage memoir of a '40s jazz musician through the twilight years of the big band, Side Man is a haunting, blues-y tale full of characters who will stay in our hearts and minds for a long time.
