Laura Jane Bailey Since moving to the Bay Area in 2003, Laura Jane Bailey has acted in projects for TheatreFirst, Shee Theatre Company, Hillbarn Theatre, Dragon Productions, Steinbeck Presents and Theatre Q. While in Chicago, she was the Artistic Director of Cobalt Ensemble Theatre where she produced box office and critically successful shows and acted in lots of theater with lots of great people (The Cider House Rules, The American Dream, Raised in Captivity and Tattoo Girl were a few memorable ones), some improv (When We Were Superstars, Phobia), and a couple of commercials. Laura Jane attended the University of Illinois, Champaign Urbana and trained at the Actors’ Center of Chicago (where she later taught ), Second City and Improv Olympic.
