Now Hiring: Box Office Staff
Each night of every performance we need to have one person working the box office to sell tickets, follow up on the day’s emails and voicemails, and handle the will call walkups. This is a position that begins 2 hours prior to the show time (either 6p or noon depending on the day of the week) and ends after the cleanup of the show. The Box Office staff will work closely with the stage manager and the concessions volunteers during the show. We're looking for folks who have customer service experience, patience, and basic computer skills. There is a stipend of $50/show.

Designers Needed for the 2016 Season
We are currently seeking properties, sound designers, costume designers, lighting designers, and stage managers for the 2015 season. Potential on-the-job training for some positions available. Production and Design Staff
We hire Actors, Directors, Administrative Assistants, Stage Managers, and other Technical Staff on a show-by-show basis. Opportunities will be listed here.

3. We are always looking for designers and occasionally back stage run crew.

There are many volunteer opportunities over the short term, with definite potential for paid future work. Stipends/salaries are dependent on experience. Below are just some of the ways that volunteering for Dragon Productions can be rewarding and fun!
Currently in great need of hospitality volunteers.
A Hospitality Volunteer (1 or 2 per show) is in charge of setting up concessions and the lobby an hour before each show, selling concessions before and during intermission of the show, and closing up concessions and the lobby after the show. All Volunteers are required to arrive an hour before the show starts and have all volunteer duties completed before leaving. If you have never volunteered for Dragon Theatre before there is a short training session you are required to attend before volunteering. Hospitality Volunteers will have a seat reserved for the night they volunteer so they can enjoy the show for free! Please send interest to tickets (at) dragonproductions.net
Other positions generally available:
Administrative: If you enjoy working on the computer, we have many projects involving data entry, compiling data, research, grant writing, and much, much more. This is a great way to help Dragon from the comfort of your own home.
Production: We are always working on organizing and inventory of our props and costume storage. We also love help with finding props or costumes for each of our shows. This is a great way to be resourceful & directly influence our productions’ designs. Want the inside look at how auditions go? We always need auditions assistants. We also need House Managers for every performance to take tickets and sell concessions - it's a great way to meet people and see the shows for free!
Publicity: We always need people to pound the streets to distribute postcards and hang fliers.
Fundraising: We have an annual fundraising event in the summer and we always need help securing donations for the auction, setting up and running the event, and so on.
